Previous Experience:
Nick Fedor comes to Washington Gateway Main Street, Inc. from Philadelphia, PA. In Philadelphia, Fedor worked on The Avenue Project, the main street program for the community development corporation Mt. Airy USA. In his role, Fedor worked with business owners to obtain funding and design assistance for façade improvements; established and directed the organization’s street cleaning program; coordinated and produced retail promotional events; managed numerous projects related to the public relations of the organization; and worked with stakeholder groups such as the local business association and business improvement district on a variety of programmatic activities designed to enhance the economic health of the commercial corridor.

Prior to his economic development work, Fedor spent 5 years in the advertising and marketing industry working as both a Project and Account Manager.

Education:
Fedor earned a B.A. in History from Kenyon College, a liberal arts school located in central Ohio.

Interests:In addition to exploring Boston’s neighborhoods with his wife, Barbara, and their dog, Fiona, Fedor enjoys fly fishing in his spare time.
